The Kingdom of God in Maui (Hawaii)
We've seen some amazing miracles continue as the Spirit of God is poured out in Maui. A man who had a pain in the left side of his head and had been unable to work and sleep because of it, said that he was going to a specialist on Oahu, meaning that it was suspected that something was seriously wrong. He was prayed for and completely healed. A lady with constant pain in her feet, who had two surgeries to remedy it without success, felt a heat in her feet and the pain was gone. She walked with her husband on the beach with no pain. Supernatural manifestations have become a common cool occurrence.A lady with a spa type clinic in Kahului prayed for an unsaved client who accepted Jesus and asked God to fill her with His Spirit. Then, with no prompting, coaching, or previous experience, she began to speak in tongues. The whole office staff was literally intoxicated with the presence of God. The same lady reported that she prayed for another client who was an atheist and though professing not to believe in God, asked for prayer for her daughter who was on drugs and away from home. Soon after that prayer, that lady went to the front door of her house in the morning and her daughter was on her doorstep. The daughter accepted Jesus and was delivered from drug addiction.A lady in church had been praying for her son for two years to come to the Lord. Even after many invitations he wouldn't come to church. She took a small cloth and prayed over it and then tucked it in his wallet. On the Sunday after she did that, he showed up at church and was radically touched. Another lady in the church who suffered with asthma testified of her healing. Her lungs were clear and she didn't have to use her inhaler anymore. I could go on and on and on...
But last night was the apex of the movement toward revival that we've contended for since arriving in January. It was the unveiling of the Maui School of Supernatural Ministry which is a pilot branch out of Bethel Church in Redding, CA. The sanctuary was full of people from all over Maui who had one thing in common. A hunger for God. Even then, there were people who were drawn in by the Spirit of God. A young man walking by was drawn in and got his world rocked as the power of God overtook him in his seat. He gave his life to the Lord last night, simply compelled to come in. A young lady driving by, clouded by oppression, felt drawn into the parking lot and sat surrounded by a crowd of radical believers for the entire gathering. At the end she accepted the Lord for the first time in her life. It's interesting that we tone down services in a carnal attempt to insulate people from offense by limiting their exposure to the supernatural power of God. What gives us the right to hold people back from all God wants to release? I'll write more about this another time but I'm learning some things here.
Then the testimonies of healings began. Here's how it seems to go. As worship happens, and the message of the Kingdom is declared, a wave of anointing sweeps across the room. We asked anyone who felt a heat or unusual sensation in their hands to raise them. Hands go up all over the room. They begin to lay hands on people around them. A man in the center of the sanctuary with a heart condition falls to the floor in the center aisle under the power of the Spirit of God. A lady from Egypt who couldn't raise her arms above her head because of joint problems with her shoulders was totally healed and raising her arms high in praise to God. So many things happen as people begin to give words of knowledge and prophecy over one another. All over the room the Spirit of God is moving. It's hard to keep up with it all. And then, in the middle of all of this, an older Hawaiian man, very nicely dressed in local clothing with a very native decoration around his neck, stands and wants to testify. The room gets quiet, really quiet. He simply turns to the sanctuary and testified that he came with pain in his knees and as those around him were praying, his knees began to pop and the pain was gone, healed by the "power of Jesus". The room erupts! I figure, this is a nice testimony but the reaction of the people seemed more intense. I found out later who this was. I'll refrain from publishing his name here because I don't have permission to do so. But he is known as the father of the local Hawaiian people. His influence in the preservation of the culture and the heritage of the Hawaiian nation, is enormous. To the highest seat in state government, he has affected policy on a variety of issues, speaking out on behalf of the Hawaiian people. It was told to me following the service (because I didn't know any better) "Every local Hawaiian will soon hear that this man was healed by Jesus Christ." The word I get over and over again from people calling about this is that you have no idea how huge that is. Perhaps not, but we serve a huge God who has all authority and is in a really good mood and huge things are on His heart so they should also be on ours. Raise your expectations to the place where the discipling of a city, a state, and a nation is totally within reach. Because it is.

Transition is the name of the game!
Oct. 5, 2007--RICK JOYNER:
"We Are In the First Stages of A Great Transition--Maybe the Greatest Yet"
"Transitions present the most risk, and therefore require the most faith."
Previously, we began to address the question of why it seems that every host of a great revival gets left in worse shape than before the revival. The answer to that question will give us many important answers that could bring a huge influx of life into the Church, as well as enable the Church to sustain a level of life and power that could make revivals obsolete and unnecessary. Why is this? Revival is only required when something has to be revived. If the Church was living and thriving the way it should be, it would not need to be revived, but would be continually increasing in life and power.
The Path of Life--Navigating through Transition
This is stated in Proverbs 4:18, "But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day." That is normal Christianity--walking in continually increasing light until we have the fullness of the light. Since it is obvious that no one is presently walking in the fullness of the light, and there is no credible person who is claiming to be, we obviously still have a long way to go. However, there are people and movements who are walking in ever increasing light and should still be on the right path.
Therefore, if this is not happening for us, we have missed a turn somewhere. We need to go back to where we missed it and get back on the right path. That's called "repentance."
It is one thing to get off of the path, but it is another to get stuck on it somewhere and stop moving. This happens to many. They may not be involved in sin or legalism, which are the ditches on either side of the path of life, but neither are they increasing in the light they are walking in. These have just stopped, and most of these have stopped because they ran into a transition that they couldn't or didn't want to make.
Navigating through a spiritual transition is one of the rarest and most difficult requirements for leadership. Transitions present the most risk, and therefore require the most faith. In every significant transition that I have experienced, it seemed that the whole work was being put at risk to go to the next level. Even though there is the promise of being able to bear much more fruit once the transition is made, almost all require that a time of severe pruning precede it. It is much easier to lead when people are gathering and everything is on the increase than it is through a pruning in which people are leaving. The purpose for the transition may seem obscure to all but the leaders.
As the Apostle Paul shared with the churches in the first century, "Through many tribulations we must enter the Kingdom of God" (see Acts 14:22). This is a principle that we could interpret, "Through many transitions we must enter the Kingdom of God." Transitions will be tribulations. That's why when the whole world makes the transition to the Kingdom, it will be the greatest of all tribulations. We all want to get to the Kingdom, but not many want to go through the door.
Even so, churches, movements, missions, even companies and nations begin to die when they get stuck at one stage of development--they stop growing and stop moving forward. The River of Life is just that--a river, not a lake or a pond. A river is flowing, moving, and going somewhere. That is why it is said that you can never step into the same river twice--it constantly changes. Like it or not, change is a basic evidence of healthy life. The path of life, which is also called the path of the righteous, is a path, and a path leads somewhere.
Prophetic Ministry and Leadership
Biblically, we see the great moves of God having the same problem we have in keeping the momentum going. One place this is highlighted is Ezra 4:24-5:2:
"Then work on the house of God in Jerusalem ceased, and it was stopped until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia. When the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them, then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them supporting them."
In Ezra, in the prophecies of Haggai and Zechariah, the remnant who had returned to rebuild the temple laid the foundation and then became distracted, with each building their own houses, and forgetting the house of God. This is a good prophetic picture of where the Church is today. Many arose with a heart to see radical, Biblical Christianity and New Testament Church life restored. A foundation for this was laid, but then the workers became distracted and went off to build their own "houses" or ministries.
It is rare to find a ministry today that is not just built around an individual's purpose or vision that has a true Kingdom purpose and vision. In Ezra, this distraction continued until the prophets started prophesying. This is one of the main reasons why the Lord has raised up the prophetic ministry in our time--to get the work on His restored house completed and to see the Church come forth in all of the glory she is called to walk in.
In the last two decades, the prophetic ministry has been received in an increasing part of the Body of Christ. There has been movement again toward the Church's ultimate purpose where it has been received. This ministry is especially given to get the Church moving, and to keep it moving, which we see highlighted in Ezra 6:14:
"And the elders of the Jews were successful in building through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they finished building according to the command of the God of Israel and the decree of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia."
First, the elders were successful in building through the prophesying of the prophets. The prophets did not create the building--the elders did. Some prophets can be good builders, but not many. In general, prophets will do well to let the elders do that part and let the prophets stick to their part. The elders would also do well not to try to get the prophets too involved in the practical work of building. They may want to do it, but if it is not their calling, and with most of them it isn't, then they should not do it.
The point that we made before is that the work on the house of God ceased until the prophets started prophesying. The work on the house of God will not avoid the ruts, or be able to get out of them without the prophets. Certainly the prophets can be difficult, but the work will be much more difficult without them. The time may now be upon us when no work will enter into its full purpose without them. They are especially important for helping works through transitional stages.
The prophets are a part of the Body, and as the Apostle Paul explained, one part of the Body must not say to another part that they have no need of them. We will not get very far without them. If we reject the true prophets, we will likely become subject to those who are false. The reason we are told in Acts 2:17-18 that in "the last days," when the Lord pours out His Spirit, the result will be dreams, visions, and prophecy, because in the last days, we will not make it without this kind of specific guidance.
The third point we can derive from Ezra 6:14 is that the work was completed according to the God of Israel and the decrees of the civil authorities. It is a remarkable thing the way the Lord moved on the hearts of these kings to not only let their slaves go, but to bless and support them and donate to their work. This is another whole subject that we will only note for now, but anti-government and anti-authority mindsets have no place in the work of God, as Paul made clear in Romans 13.
For these last few weeks I have been trying to reinforce and elaborate a bit more on how to make a phase transition. This is one of the most critical aspects of leadership. The greatest leaders in history were those who led through the great transitions. I am also sharing this because I believe we are, overall, in the first stages of a great transition, maybe the greatest yet--the transition of an age. This will require extraordinary leadership, but the Lord will provide it. Even so, walking in the light and the increasing light of "the path of the righteous," means that we should be able to see our path with increasing clarity. That is what we will seek.

You Guys Need to Read This!
September 3, 2007
Kathie Walters:
"LIVING IN THE GLORY--GOD CALLED US FIRST TO ENJOY HIM"
"We need to live in what He has done, and not in what we are trying to do."
Recently, when I arrived on the East Coast for a weekend of ministry, I was met at the airport by some very excited ladies. "We are so glad you're here!" one of them exclaimed, "We really need a touch from God." My husband, David, and I hear this quite often.
It concerns me when people seek after a "touch from God," because God has something better for us--His provision is for us to live in His glory. I understand people's heart and desire for God, but if we learn to live in His glory, then we can become a source of the touch from God. We don't have to seek after one.
Changing Mindsets
Although God will bless His people, there are some things that He will not agree with--for example, our religious mindsets. The Holy Spirit cannot stay and dwell in these wrong concepts as they are contrary to the truth, because He is the Spirit of Truth. God has shown me three very important mindsets that we need to change.
The first mindset is one that most Christians can be guilty of. Either consciously or unconsciously, we are trying to change our old nature (old man) and improve ourselves. We fail to realize that Jesus never came to do that. Jesus crucified the old man so that by faith, we can walk in the new man who is already created in righteousness and holiness.
Because of this, the enemy tries to make people feel they are not qualified to live in the supernatural realm--but remember, Satan is a liar and a thief. Jesus qualified us 100 percent. It's never 90 percent God, 10 percent us--it's 100 percent Him. The supernatural realm of angels, Heavenly visitations and the chariots of God were meant to be a normal part of our lives. They are manifestations of the Glory of God.
As you behold the glory of the Lord "...we are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
He is going to "...present you faultless before the presence of His glory...." (Jude 1:24).
We are His trophy and His workmanship. He is the One who does the work, while we do the yielding. We need to live in what He has done, and not in what we are trying to do. Don't pray for God to send His glory--He already has. We aren't changed from glory to glory by trying--we're changed by His Spirit.
The second thing that we are prone to is "false responsibility." We are responsible for what He gives us, and that is it! A heavy spirit makes people feel responsible for things and people they can do nothing about. We cannot change anyone, and we certainly can't make anyone do something.
Many revivals have been quenched by this religious spirit. A young revivalist was used mightily in the great Welsh revival. He was a vessel and the glory of God flowed through him. Then, after a year, he began to make himself responsible for how the people responded to the Spirit. If they did not respond the way he thought they should, he would leave the meeting or shut it down. This brought a spirit of heaviness into the land and onto the people because it was not his responsibility.
Our responsibility is to do what He tells us to do, say what He asks us to say, and go where He wants us to go. That is all God requires from us--and we get to keep our joy!
The third religious thing we fall into is carrying "false burdens." As intercessors, we need only to yield to the Spirit. When that anointing falls on us and we do some warfare, we have to remember that it isn't us, it's the anointing from Heaven. We may do some declaring, or we may laugh, weep or fall down on the floor and cry out, but no matter what, the burden will eventually lift because Jesus is the Ultimate Intercessor seated at the right hand of the Father.
Once, I belonged to an intercession group in
God called us first to enjoy Him--after all, if we don't enjoy Him, why are we serving Him?
Your Mindsets DO Affect the Moves of the Spirit
That is why moves of the Spirit come and go. Why is there a powerful move of God in a certain church or ministry, but after a couple of years it dissipates? People wonder, are puzzled and may be hurt by it, but often it is a result of a spirit of abortion that causes the move of God to be terminated. Unfortunately, it affects the people who have been enjoying that move of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the Lord.
When my husband and I came into the things of the Spirit, we had layers of theology and head knowledge. We could dot every theological "i" and cross every doctrinal "t." We began to seek the Lord. We were hungry for God. Then we came into a powerful revival in the South of London. People were coming from everywhere and the presence of God was overwhelming. Our biggest stumbling block was not our worldly ways, but our theology and head knowledge.
We had to learn that when the Body came together and let God move, it really wasn't about who or what, it was all about Him. No one really cared what happened as long as the beautiful presence of Jesus was there.
People left the meetings and never made it to the bus stop. They would fall out under the anointing and lie in peoples' front yards, hang in trees or sprawl out in the bushes. When people called to get directions to the meeting, we would have to tell them, "You will find people lying in the street outside; don't take any notice, just step over them and come on in." The glory of God was on everyone--the banker, the trash man, the child, the aged.
Sometimes we just have to sit at the feet of Jesus, rest, and let Him shower us with His love. He is not asking us to run around 24/7 getting all worn out.
He is the lover and keeper of our soul. We are the apple of His eye, His beloved. We can rest and live in His glory because He has covered us with it. Remember, He called us for Himself--we are His treasures!

We picked it for you - Enjoy!
Hello dear ones,
We thought you might enjoy this article by Bill Yount on the Obsession for Fruit.
The Lord is about to bring the best new wine ever made out of our lives and ministries unto Him.
Love & Passion,
Edualdo & Aline Cicero
"July 26, 2007 -- Bill Yount:
"I Heard It Through the Grapevine--Joshua and Caleb were OBSESSED with Looking for FRUIT!"
Numbers 13:20 "And be ye of good courage and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes."
It's interesting that the spies were sent in to spy out the Promised Land when the first grapes of the season were ripe. I sense the Lord wanted all twelve spies to focus on the fruit of that land and not the giants. I am sure Joshua and Caleb kept hearing how big the giants and walled up cities were from those ten spies while they were taking their tour. I believe Joshua and Caleb got to thinking, "If the giants are really that big, can you imagine how big that fruit must be?" Joshua and Caleb were obsessed, looking for the fruit of the land of promise. What we look for is what we will find. They came back with a cluster of grapes so big, it took two men to carry one cluster on a pole out of the valley of Eschol.
GOD CALLED THE LAND THAT WAS FULL OF HEATHEN GIANTS AND UNGODLY CITIES, WALLED UP TO HEAVEN "A GOOD LAND THAT FLOWS WITH MILK AND HONEY!"
Psalm 27:13 "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."
If we are ever going to enter our Promised Land we must see the good in our nation, our government officials, our cities and the good in every person we meet! We may have to use Scripture (Romans 4:17) to see the good, and call those things that are not as though they already were!
Romans 2:4 "It's the goodness of the Lord that leads men to repentance."
Did you know that God chooses to see the good in you, and not the evil? Ask the father of the prodigal son what he saw when his son came wandering up the road to home, and said, even when he was still in the pigpen of sin, "That's my son!" Be careful of what comes out of your mouth when you see heathens rage and sin in people's lives increasing. It was what came out of the mouth of the ten spies that kept all of Israel from entering into their inheritance!
It's the same for us today. If our mouths can keep us out of our inheritance, then our mouths can take us in! Let's look for the good and speak of what is good in the land of the living!
THE "CLUSTER" OF GRAPES WAS THE KEY TO GETTING BACK INTO THE PROMISED LAND
I noticed that Joshua and Caleb still stuck it out with that unbelieving bunch of "sour" grapes that eventually dried up in the wilderness and became raisins. God separated Joshua and Caleb from them, later in His timing, and they finally got to enter into their inheritance. But they hung in there, for they knew the key to get back into the Promised Land was to stay together and let the process prepare them for what was ahead.
Isaiah 65:8 "... as the new wine is found in the cluster, destroy it not; for a blessing is in it."
God has a corporate vision right now for His Kingdom in the earth, so we must be in a cluster of believers, and we must connect with churches, tribes, tongues, and nations--for God is too big for just our ministry, church, or home group. I sense that what God has in mind is beyond us. This new wine cannot be made from just one grape--one ministry, one church, or one vision. Without connecting to the cluster, your life and ministry is bound to dry up.
I SAW THE HANDS OF GOD COMING UPON THIS CLUSTER OF GRAPES OF THE NATIONS... HIS HANDS ARE ABOUT TO BLESS US BEYOND MEASURE
I saw some pressure coming upon this huge cluster of grapes where you and I were placed by the hand of God. We first thought the pressure was coming from the enemy or other grapes in this cluster, but I clearly saw the hands of God begin to squeeze this cluster to make the best new wine that He was saving for this last, end-time, harvest revival.
You can always tell when God is about to make new wine from the cluster where you are placed... some grapes will begin to "wine."
IT'S TIME WE SAY TO THE GRAPE NEXT TO US... GOD IS SMARTER THAN YOU AND I!
As His hands continued to put pressure on us in this cluster, some grapes began to cry out, "Oh, God, I can't handle this bunch You put me with. Please get me out of here!" The Lord responded, "I will, My way, just hang in there!" As more pressure was put on this cluster, some grapes began to cry out. "Lord, I am not being appreciated here. These grapes around me seem to be hindering my gifting, calling, and dream You have given me. I seem to be losing my identity." The Lord says, "You are right on schedule. You have been too thin-skinned, and your brokenness is a must for what I am about to do. If you lose your life, you will find it in Me!" Most of the grapes in this cluster had no idea what God was really up to. More than our dreams, plans, and ministries, God seems to be after something more than we could understand. I think it is time we say to the grape next to us, "God is smarter than you and I!"
"THE ANOINTING FOR THE HARVEST OF THE NATIONS IS IN THE 'CLUSTER' OF GRAPES!"
As the hand of God kept squeezing this cluster, many grapes were broken to pieces. The juice of the grapes dripped down from the cluster into the earth, becoming the new wine for the great harvest of the nations.

Global Day of Prayer & Marama Night (5th Edition)
French Polynesia (South Pacific)
Dear friends and prayer partners,
THE GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER IN TAHITI: A NEW DAY FOR OUR NATION
Last Sunday, May 27th, we joined in with the many hundreds of millions of Christians spread out over 220 nations for the Global Day of Prayer of Pentecost Sunday. It was indeed for us in Tahiti the occasion for a great gathering of the saints (between 250 and 300) from at least five different fellowships/churches. Pastor William Tua rented the Sheraton Hotel for the event. I believe the most moving time was the Holy Communion where we did sense a special work of the Holy Spirit breaking our hearts over the many years of divisions and dissentions among Christians that have caused so much grief to God.
Everybody was so excited by the meaningfulness of that day and we believe (along with others) that this Pentecost Sunday has marked the history of our nation for that is the day when a significant portion of the Body of Christ of our nation has agreed to be AS ONE before the Lord. We saw the crumbling of many unworthy walls that have been built over the years in the name of religious pride and selfish ambitions. We are really thankful to God and we feel honored to have been able to be a part of this tremendous gathering and we are praying that other opportunities will be given to worship God together again in the near future.

- good preparation of the youth groups from different fellowships who will be performing
- perfect weather conditions (no rain especially)
- no disfunctions and no damage on the equipment we will require (sound system, tent, stage, musical instruments, lights, decorations, etc.)
- good impact of radio announcemnts, posters, flyers all over town and beyond

- no discouragement or demonic strategies to hinder the teams in their performances
- the abiding touch of the Holy Spirit to anoint the whole event

Coming to California SOON! Yeah!!
Here is our flight schedule finally confirmed! Wow! We'll get to see some of you (hopefully many of you if you happen to be around)!!
We arrive in LAX on Saturday June 16th @ 7:45 PM with flight # QF 3821 (Qantas) on code share with ATN (Air Tahiti Nui flight)
- We will probably spend the first week and up to 10 days of our stay or so in Southern CA [visiting our friends in Yorba Linda & Pasadena, the French Club (Sunday night if that's the best), Disney Land, Universal Studios, Aline's family in the San Diego area?...] . Earl & Jana Thurner might actually come see us and we would go with them to some of the fun places in South Cal.
- We might then take off to Flagstaff, AZ (got an invitation there from some friends + church engagement too if that works out) and it needs to be confirmed.
- From there we should drive (if the $ will be there for that) to Las Vegas, NV for some more sightseeing of the impressive City of Lights. Probably for a short stay.
- Then we move up toward the Yosemite & Sequoia Parks and see what we can glean of the imprints of God in those legendary sanctuaries of nature (anything else we can visit there?)
- The next longer stop should be in Santa Rosa (suburb of San Francisco) staying with our friends there and visiting the region (which we have never gone to). They have plenty of suggestions for us and will be staying at two possible locations there. We will also take a trip out to Redding from there for a church weekend at Bethel (the headquarters of Bill Johnson's ministry). Have you heard of him before? He is the author of "When Heaven invades Earth". Make sure you grab that book!! It's a must reading (solid food for quick growth)!!! :-))
- Getting organized before we go with the Bookstore, the ISOM Bible School (which will still be going on after we're gone), making plans for the next Marama Night youth outreaches (letters and planning before we go)!!
- Pray we will be able to afford the 4-week rental of a car NOW since the payment online is a lot cheaper and we can have incredible deals if we charge our credit card (but of course we need to have the credit line for that!!!)
- That we will manage to get a temporary cell phone number NOW for the USA so that we can send it to all of those who would like to reach us anytime during our American venture (another online charge on our credit card to be made possible--not the case right now!!)
- That we will be able to have some ministry cards prepared for our trip in the USA and sent to you guys so we will have them to give away.
